In this video, I film the crime scene at Union Street and Jackson Avenue where a man was shot in a stolen truck by police.

[news1130] Vancouver Police shot a man in a stolen truck this evening near Union Street and Jackson Avenue. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

I arrived on scene in  response to a tweet by the twitter account of 24 Hours Vancouver where it originally gave the location of Union and Jackson by the Viaduct of the shooting.

I also made this video in response to Video Blogging Week 2009 April 5-12 as my first video for the week.

This filming happened on Sunday April 5th, 2009 in Vancouver’s Strathcona area
