Back by popular demand, the MPBIA is ecstatic to host its 3rd Annual Autumn Shift Festival from noon to 6 pm on Saturday, September 15, 2012.

The Autumn Shift Festival reflects the shift in season as well as the on-going shift in our community’s attitude towards embracing sustainability, eating locally, and indulging in urban gardening; all which create the theme for the interactive booths, children’s activities, and street shows, including The Beaumont Studios stage at Main and Broadway featuring some of  Vancouver’s hottest DJs, bands and performers.

The MPBIA’s Autumn Shift Festival is a family-friendly street party with great music, fabulous food, fun and free children’s activities, and the chance to meet and mingle with MPBIA friends, neighbours, and business owners.

Fun and themed booths include the Telus World of Science, David Suzuki Foundation, Translink, Vancouver Aquarium, Vancouver Giants, BC Hydro, Fortis, Brewery Creek Community Gardens, Kensington Gardens, Fresh Roots Urban Farm, Raw Foods, Habitat for Humanity, The world in a Garden, Garden Works, Bullfrog Power, Sustainable Produce, Backyard Bounty, Mount Pleasant Elementary, Fresh Roots Urban Farm and Yummy Yards.
