Origins Parkour and Athletic Facility in Vancouver
Origins Parkour – Vancouver’s first and only facility dedicated to parkour training. We are centrally located on Main and 10th, just a block away from major bus stops.
Our gym was designed and built by the same people that use it — that means that all 10,000 square feet of the facility is full of structures and equipment that are specialized and of the highest quality. In addition to parkour, we also feature programs for tricking, gymnastics, and strength and conditioning.
We are pleased to announce the biggest grassroots parkour competition featuring top parkour athletes from all over North America. These elite contenders will be competing in 2 timed SPEED courses, 3 SKILL challenges, and, for the first time ever, a 2-on-2 FREESTYLE BATTLE tournament.
The event is hosted by ORIGINS Parkour & Athletic Facility.
TICKETS AVAILABLE NOW AT THE GYM.
Qualifiers will be held on Friday, February 1st. Interested athletes contact INFO@ORIGINSPARKOUR.COM.
On February 3rd there will be a FREE training session with all visitors. Location TBA.

Defend the DTES Oppenheimer District and
MAKE THE DTES A SOCIAL JUSTICE ZONE
Friday January 11
2pm
Oppenheimer Park Field House
*Tea and light snack available*
For the last year members of the DTES low-income community have been involved in a city planning process to chart out a future for the Downtown Eastside. Meanwhile condos, high-end boutiques and architecture and other studios have been encroaching on the DTES Oppenheimer District – the heart of the low-income communities.
Come to this meeting to learn about the Oppenheimer district (which you may live in and not even know it), to strategize how to fight to defend this neighbourhood as a predominately and majority low-income community, and to vision what a Social Justice Zone might look like in the city of Vancouver.
Organized by members of the City’s Local Area Planning Process Committee
