AHA Media

AHA MEDIA met Sean Winter again and now that we have our site, we’re pleased and proud to present Sean Winter to our online audience.

Sean is a young saxophone player extraordinare!!  He resides in our neighborhood and is a welcome and friendly presence in the area. You may have heard him play a variety of styles of songs in Gastown, usually situated by the restaurant Chill Winston and the Gassy Jack statue. 

Sean is a busy man but still makes time to play for the folks on the street. He is a rare type of musician that still engages with the public  to help enliven and contribute positively to our area  ! 

 AHA MEDIA  believes he’s going to be a fantastic  success in his life and if you have a chance, stop by in Gastown and listen to him play 🙂

 AHA MEDIA supports  the arts and LIVE instrumental music especially our local talent!

AHA MEDIA went to a event at ENP – Enterprising Non Profits. We’re going to be taking some courses to become better at what we do – independent new media !  Thanks to the generous sponsorship from BOB – Building Opportunities with Business www.bobics.org

AHA MEDIA works really hard at being an independent, alternative and new media source in our DTES community. We aim to give news and events in our area an online presence while keeping in mind, that stories are being told in a respectful, informative fashion by citizens of the DTES.

AHA MEDIA’s team  live and work in our neighborhood and we like to engage in our community by listening and  keeping up with our friends and colleagues.  What you see on our website is for us, by us, and to let the rest of the world know who we are 🙂  We’re proud of the work we’ve done for our site.

Vancouver certainly needs more shelter beds!  PHS is helping out in this regard, especially with the cold weather we’ve had recently.
