First Day of Unit Block Vendors going to Area 62 DTES Street Market on Nov 16 2015 in Vancouver
Street vendors from the Unit Block E. Hastings Street moved across the street to Area 62 – 62 East Hastings to legally vend their recycled items with the support of the DTES Street Market.
VW Diesel generator powers Area 62 DTES Street Market
The power went out at Area 62 – 62 East Hastings last night. All our power comes from a single 15 Amp plug, and a circuit breaker inside a building where we have no access tripped and killed the plug. This will cost us hundreds of dollars in ruined frozen ice cream, and will render our office useless. We will also be unable to brew coffee on Monday for any visitors during the week at our Area 62 DTES Street Market.
