AHA MEDIA while strolling on Commercial Drive in Vancouver during the May long weekend were welcomed into Audiopile – an amazing secondhand music store by Geoff Barton, owner 🙂
We found Geoff a most hospitable man with his customer service to us and extremely knowledgeable about music through the decades 🙂
In this video, Geoff Barton, owner of Audiopile on Commerical Drive talks about store and his community.
This was filmed by April Smith of AHA MEDIA on a Nokia N95 mobile cameraphone. April is passionate and skilled in making Nokia films by exploring mobile media production through the camera lens of a cellphone. For a better quality version of this video, please DM April Smith @AprilFilms on Twitter.
Audiopile has an upcoming sale in July! Check out the website for more details http://www.Audiopile.com
AHA MEDIA thanks Geoff Barton for his thoughts on camera, wonderful friendly customer service and a whole store of musical treasures to discover! 🙂
We wanted to treat ourselves after working very hard at Vancouver Digital Week doing livestreaming, live twitter, mobile new media photography and videography with our social media connections.
Keeping with our new lessons from the week, we decided to keep using Twitter, a fantastic social media tool to keep interacting with each other and our community. We have a very strong desire to stay connected and keep learning 🙂
We picked La Casa Gelato as it was near our area of the Vancouver Downtown Eastside ( DTES). Our purpose was two fold – to eat some great ice cream and to use “Twitter” to “tweet” or give live updates on our dining experience. 🙂
We created on Twitter a new account: @Tweets_and_Eats
We combined the two words of “Tweets and Eats ” to make a new word called “Tweats” and built a new and separate Food Review site for our dining experiences in Vancouver
AHA MEDIA livestreamed, did photography/videography and live twittered for Fearless City and W2 at the PopVox Awards with Suez Holland – VJ electrabelle 🙂
