The PHS lecture series presents STANTON PEELE: True Recovery
THURSDAY JANUARY 27, 2011
Stanton Peele, Ph.D., J.D., is a renowned psychologist who has for the past 40 years challenged the more simplistic notions and models of addiction that have predominated the North American debate. He is one of the pioneers of harm reduction, acknowledging that addiction occurs with a range of experiences and that there is something called a natural recovery from addiction. He is the author of Love and Addiction, The Meaning of Addiction, 7 Tools to Beat Addiction, and is the Developer of the Life Process Program for defeating addiction.
This is an incredible opportunity. Stanton is an engaging and highly entertaining speaker who promises to challenge the way we understand and think about addiction and recovery.
Soup, coffee and dessert will be served at 6:30 pm
THIS IS A FREE EVENT, BUT PLEASE RSVP TO RSVP@PHS.CA
Hope to see you there!
