August 15, 2010 Leave a comment

Christoph Runné is a Vancouver-based experimental film, video, and installation artist. Through his work, he explores the unhidden yet seemingly invisible world around us. He creates visual tone poems with a humanitarian heartbeat whose minimalist and impressionistic methodology contradicts the complex human conditions with which Runné engages.

Below is Christoph adjusting a 35mm Steenbeck editing table – Double picture eight-plate editing table for 35 mm standard and CinemaScope film with sound shift system. Capacity 300 and 450 m picture film, 500 m sound film (PE).

This video was filmed by April Smith of AHA MEDIA on a New Media camera – Panasonic DMC-ZS3. AHA MEDIA is about exploring mobile media production through New Media cameras.
